About one month ago, I decided to finally take my car in for service. I will admit that my car is a Volkswagen, and they are qualified Volkswagen techinicians to work on the car. I had observed them attending to other Volkswagen's needs, so I felt about 95% comfortable bringing my car to them for service. I knew part of what the problem was with my car, and I had a pretty good idea about what had to be changed and fixed in the car to make it run. I will not go into too much details, because I don't want to write a book on this, but I will say, that after bringing back the car, now, three times to be fixed by this firm, and the car still does not run right. The first time I brought it back was because it was just not fixed. Something was still wrong. The second time I brought it back, it was for the same problem, and when I got it back, they assured me that there was no charge and that the car run perfectly. The third time I brought it back was because it still was not running correctly, and this time, they said that they fixed some things, and charged me $100 for it this time. To this day, the car still does not run correctly. The total repair bill for this whole fiasco was about $900, because they replaced everything, probably because they couldn't find the problem. Well, they still haven't found a problem, and for everyday I had to take off work early and go in late to take the car, that is lost wages, and I don't think that it is fair to a customer, when they repeatedly come back for the same problem to assure them that the car is fixed, even thought it is not. That, is the reason why the service/parts rating is so low for this firm. If they hadn't promised to me that the car was fixed, and then repeatedly lie to me that the car was fixed, and that things were changed when they really weren't, then, this business would have had almost 5 keys of satisfaction in my book.
The original impression that a person gets when arriving at the establishment is one of a very clean cut and proper dealership only looking out for the best in customer relations and quality in worksmanship. The sales staff is an adequately featured fleet of well appointed employees, while a little hard on the accent side, manage to get thier points and advertising information conferred to the customer. They do not pressure you into any kind of buying agreement or anything of the sort. You can feel free to look about.. for they will usually leave you with the car to look around and be at ease with yourself. Though.. they did tend to be paranoid when I was with other people there.. by not leaving us with the key, and when you look at the more expensive cars.. they also tend to hang around whether you are with anyone or not. Thier accents.. while sometimes hard to understand do begin to make sense after you talk with them for a while.
